This is my new guest post series talking to our favourite linky hosts…. I thought it would be interesting want to get Behind The Linky finding out more about the linkys and the?host’s blog.

I’m so excited to introduce my second?guest poster…. The fabulously calm Franca from?A Moment With Franca! I love Franca’s blog and her linky it’s such a lovely community and so much blog love! Any type of posts old or new. Everything is welcome. The only thing is that you are allowed to link up another linky ONLY if it is a promotional post about the linky and you can do this only once.

4. Where do you share the posts which link up to your linky? ?It is shared in twitter and in Pinterest
5. Host/cohost?
I’m the main host. What I have introduced to this linky is the opportunity to have a new guest co-host every week so a new person have the option to get their blog exposed as I do a back link to their blog and I also mention all their social media. Also she/he has the option to link up a guest co-host post which should be also visited and commented.?

1. When did you start your blog?and why?
I was made redundant in 2012 and since then, with the support of my husband, I became a SAHM. I was actually very happy to be able to be around my eldest daughter all the time and I felt lucky to be able to see her grow. In the meantime I got pregnant again with my second daughter and I was enjoying the time with both my girls. When my little one was about 7 months old and her schedules were more manageable I thought about doing something alongside being a SAHM. I always love making videos so I started my YouTube channel A Moment With Franca (https://www.youtube.com/c/amomentwithfranca). The name came after thinking that it will be me sharing with my followers some moments of my life. Alongside my channel, my blog which is also called A Moment with Franca (http://www.amomentwithfranca.com/) was born in May 2015.

2.?What’s your favourite thing about blogging?
It will soon be a year since I started blogging and it has been the most rewarding experience so far! I have had the most amazing opportunities and I have met so many people within the blogging world some of who I can even call my friends now. It is just a beautiful community.
3. What were your top 3 most popular posts since you started blogging?
More than my most popular posts, I will say that these are the 3 posts that for some reason I enjoyed writing:?
4. Which other bloggers do you most identify with? (Name up to 3)
I could mention more than 3 really but if I have to mention just 3 bloggers, I would mention 3 that I consider that they are more than just bloggers but friends.?I feel very comfortable talking with them and we understand each other in some way. They are all lovely!

1. Do you have any non-blogging hobbies? Watching movies
2. Favourite take away? Pizza or Chinese
3. Favourite home made meal? Pasta
4. Favourite TV series? Mad Men, House of Cards
5. Favourite outing with little ones? The beach
6. Top tip for new mums?
  • Be patient as things will get better at some point. It is very hard at ?the beginning but it won’t be like this for ever.?
  • Keep strong as much as you can.
  • It is completely find to cry and have melt downs. We all have it.?
  • You don’t have to be perfect. We all make mistakes.?
  • The important part is to love your baby and that your baby feels loved.
  • Try to make some ‘me time” when possible even if it just having a hot shower for more than 10 minutes. It will clear your head.
  • It is okay to ask for help. Sometimes we need and deserve a break
  • Don’t be harsh on yourself
  • Don’t forget that you have a partner. Try to have some moments just for the the two of you when the baby is?sleeping

How did you choose your linky name?
I love the quote ?”Keep Calm…” as it is very British and it can be used for so many things that I just?thought?what?not using it for a linky. I just wanted people to be happy linking up and commenting. I really love this?title. And then I decided to shortened it with just the initials as it was too long?so then #KCACOLS was born.?
Why did you want to start a linky (or if you didn’t start it, why did you choose to co-host it)?
I always wanted to start a linky. I knew that it was a fun thing to do. I enjoyed a lot joining other linkies when I just started blogging because I managed to interact with other bloggers and it helped me to get my blog known a little bit more so the next natural thing for me was this time for me to be the host.?
What’s your favourite thing about running a linky?
Being able to start a small community of people that want the same than you which is meet new bloggers, read fantastic and interesting blogs, interact with others and of course support to each other. I really see KCACOLS as a generous and beautiful community. The people really get involved and are so generous with the commenting. KCACOLS is all about commenting. I really want people to have lots of comments. I always try my best to motivate people to do it. I featured the 3 people that have commented the most every week so it is nice to get rewarded for being generous too. I really want people to share the love. I also send every Wednesday just a few hours before the linky closes a “Thank You” email. I would like to think that this is something unique just from this linky. I take the time to check every single post and see how people are interacting and always mention this in the email together with the obvious “thank you for linking up” and giving a quick summary of how the commenting have been. Also ask for people to please share the love until the new linky post is live. I think this has been a good motivation for people to come back to the linky and do their commenting. I also include a video of a song that I like for people to get in to the mood of commenting. I would like to think that all of this little things make kcacols a unique and different linky. It is much more personalised if you know what I mean.?

    I always find it fascinating to read about the person behind the blog. KCACOLS is my favourite linky hands down and Franca is just awesome! While most blog hoppers just ‘hit and run’, the people at KCACOLS actually take the time to stop by with meaningful comments unlike the usual “Great post! Thanks for sharing…..” cookie cutter comments you see on most linkies.
