We were recently sent a Baby Born Sister doll to help celebrate National Sister Day on the 6th August 2017. If you’ve read the blog previously, you’ll perhaps know that we recently had our second baby, a baby sister for our 2.5 year old, Toddler H. We were then thrilled that Toddler H got to celebrate #NationalSisterDay for the first time his year, as I hadn’t known it existed before. We were thrilled that she was given such a brilliant doll to help her remember her first National Sister Day and also that she is such a versatile doll. We were very impressed…
Zapf Creations Baby Born Sister doll review…
This doll is a brilliant idea for new sisters, the doll fits other Baby Born clothes and is a good size at 43 cm in length. Her arms and legs move, including moving at the knees. She has lovely long hair too. She cries and drinks from her bottle too.
The sister doll comes with quite a few accessories our favourites include a hair brush, which looks very similar to Toddler H’s own Tangle Tease, and hair slides. Why are these our favourites? Well, as you might have noticed Toddler H has rather long hair too, and is always wearing hair slides. Actually at the moment Toddler H is always putting every hairslide she can get her hands on into her hair herself.
For us, the fact that the sister doll has her own hair accessories is brilliant timing. I’m hoping it soon rids her of this habit as watching for hair slides falling out of her hair is growing a bit tiring! She’s very good at putting slides in “Big Dolly’s hair” so fingers crossed!
“Big Dolly’s hair is all nice and tidy!”
The big sister doll actually also comes with two necklaces and a bottle as well. I think it’s brilliant we can buy new clothes for her too as this will make easy treats and easy presents for years to come!
I can’t really see any negative to the Big Sister doll, she’s definitely a brilliant present for a new big sister!
