I’m not sure at all where this week has gone, I’ve just had to scroll through my photos to jog my memory. Some of my happy moments seem to continue on from last week’s happy list, like our on-going garden makeover and my nesting!
1. Bump
Last Sunday we had to pop to the maternity unit as baby hadn’t been moving much, luckily the monitoring showed she’s doing fine.
Bump has definitely grown through and is measuring much closer to the average line!

Bump also keeps getting the hiccups, just like Toddler H did, and actually has been again recently – she’s definitely growing too!
2. Gardening and sun
We spent much of last weekend in the garden, it was lovely. Well lovely for me relaxing, hubby was hard at work with levelling the patio for stage 2 of our garden makeover. Stage 1 involved removing the garden pond and levelling the grass.
3. Pub food
Last Saturday we wandered to the local pub for dinner, something we’ve not done in months. I can see us doing that a lot more as due date gets nearer, and once baby arrives too.
4. Nesting
I’ve been in nesting mode all week, from last Saturday’s spare bedroom clear out – I actually went through birthday cards from when I was 8 until now. It’s amazing how card designs have changed since then! There were pink frilly dresses and teddy bears on most.
I then did more during the week setting on the utility room and reorganising kitchen cupboards too… Literally taking shelves out.
5. Toddler swimming
As you might have seen me mention before, Toddler H does Waterbabies and absolutely loves it. She can swim so far on a woggle with no help from me and this week she was just so happy throughout her lesson, each time she saw on her own she’d say “swimming by myself” and sometimes she’d high five me.
We also had a mini play date with her swimming friends afterwards which was lovely. It’s always nice to catch up.
6. Deliveries
It’s been National Stationary week this week and I received a lovely bundle of items to help get in the mood. I’ll be sharing some later today, it’s so worthwhile to keep writing on paper and writing letters, don’t you think?
Toddler H also received some hair goodies from Jilly Mac Designs – she absolutely loves choosing her hair bobbles now…
Jilly actually featured in my first #MummyInBusiness guest interview.
If you’re a mummy with a business or freelancer I’d love you to take part too – just send me your answers to these questions!
This weekend involves more gardening and getting my energy back up from this food poisoning Toddler H and I had yesterday. Oh and nesting of course!

May 1, 2017 at 7:17 pmGood to hear that bump is okay and that your nesting continues. Mind out with that cupboard decluttering though! Our daughter loves hair accessories too, she’s 7 and has got her own little style going on! #happydayslinky
