Another whole week has passed! I’m not 36 weeks pregnant so very close to full term and a baby centre birth – yay! I’ve been quite tired this week on and off, but the a well timed lunch time coffee definitely helps.
A few things have stood out this week which make me smile and thankful…
1. Our patio and garden makeover
Hubby did so well last weekend, it’s getting so close! The patio is so nearly there!
2. Garden time
We’ve had lots of time in the garden this week and Toddler H has loved it. It’s been nice and relaxing. My mission this week is to make her some huge chalk boards for lots of summer drawing.
3. Preparing for baby – nesting
Baby has a set of drawers! We’ve also got the washed and car seat ready, a Baby Box and today’s plan is to make up the Chicco Next to Me. Then I think we’re prepared, the other stuff like having baby’s room finished, and a tidy spare room would be amazing and I hope we do manage it, but if baby suddenly decides it’s time like Toddler H did so quickly at least we she can get home in a nice clean car seat (without us frantically putting the cover back on in hospital) and frantically putting he crib together!
My nesting is still going strong though, so I really am trying to get everything done (sorry hubby!).
4. New baby carrier
We received a really exciting review opportunity: reviewing the new ErgoBaby Adapt carrier. It’s gorgeous and is a limited edition Sophie La Girafe version. Don’t you just love it?

5. Toddler classes
These are my lifesaver while being pregnant. I don’t know what I’d do without the routine, and seeing our friends. It’s often the same friends but they really are such a support and H loves playing with their little ones too.
This week we went back to a class we’ve not done for a while and H is now at the right age of following instructions and not being tired and hungry at the time it’s on. She was so good listening and doing as she was told, and following the other children. I enjoyed sitting watching and doing it with her. I can’t wait to take baby too.
6. Cuddles and growing up
H has been very cuddly all week which is lovely and I’m making the most of them. She does love to come and give “mummy and baby cuddles” and tell me how “baby is exciting” with a huge smile on her face. I can’t believe how her language has developed recently, she really has a personality and it a little person, full sentences and conversations and what an imagination!
7. A new cup – Litecup
It’s amazing how something as simple as a new cup for Toddler H can make a difference. She’s so happy to take her new Litecup to bed, she really does just cuddle her monkey now and go to sleep.
I have Litecup to giveaway too – it’s definitely with entering as it has a built in nightlight so toddler can always find it!
Have a lovely week folks, I’ll hopefully be back next week still as a family of three, so baby stays cooking a little longer!

May 14, 2017 at 5:50 amSounds like a lovely week. I love that picture of H painting in the garden. It’s great when they hit that age where their personality really starts to shine through in everything they do and I used to love the cuddles I got from my first when I was pregnant, he was so sweet and would talk away to his baby sister for ages and try to listen to see if she replied x

May 14, 2017 at 6:29 pmAww exciting times. Baby groups are my godsend too and I’m worrying about the summer closures already! I’m going to make the garden more fun to be in over the summer though and think chalk boards is a fab idea!! #happydays
