We were recently sent this kids baking set from What2Buy4Kids to review. Well, cake goes down well in this house and so does baking, so they were onto a sure winner!
This set is a cupcake baking set and is perfect for Toddler H. It contains her own mixing bowl and silicon spatula, 4 silicon cupcake cases and an icing pipette with different tops to get different icing effects. H was so excited when she saw it. Unfortunately as we didn’t have any eggs so we couldn’t bake straight away, but that didn’t stop H making pretend cakes all afternoon!

We did make some cakes a few days later and as you can see we had a great time!
This baking set is really well made – the plastic doesn’t feel flimsy or like it might not last. I can see us using these items for many years to come. It’s also a good size for Toddler H, much better than my mixing bowl!
Conveniently they’ve also included a cupcake recipe which is brilliant thinking for busy Mums and means I don’t have to think too much about adjusting my cake recipe proportions for cupcakes.
We love this set and other toys from What2Buy4Kids, it just makes finding gifts so much easier, with so many well priced gifts. Theyve also been described as “the toy shop that cares” by one of their customers, something I really would have to agree with. Not only that, I’ve stumbled across so many gifts on this site that I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have spotted in another shop or website. The website is very intuitive, with so many ways to shop and search for your gift – categories like “gifts by age” or “gifts for girls” and even “gifts by type” – I’ve screen dumped the gifts by type menu so you can see how easy it is to find the type of gift you might be looking for.
I can’t think of any websites I’ve seen which are so specific – brilliant for finding gifts for little ones who just love certain toys and you know you’ll find a winner easily.
You might recall the founder of What2Buy4Kids took part in my #MummyInBusiness series – check out her reasons for starting What2Buy4Kids and how she manages as a working mummy and growing her business.
