Toddler H received lots of fab toys for her 2nd birthday, however, one favourite, that I’ve had my eye on for a while was the Melissa and Doug lacing beads. This is such a simple toy, and one which even my dad said he remembers from his childhood, 60-ish years ago. The lacing beads are simple: there are different coloured beads of different shapes, and a couple of long laces to thread. It’s super simple, but verrrry good for keeping a toddler occupied! #mummywin
This particular toy does say for age 3+, and Toddler H has just turned 2, so I will be closely supervising her with it as it does have two very long ‘laces’ for threading. The beads are large as you can see from the photos, but obviously still need to be kept track of and aren’t suitable for little ones who put things in their mouths.
Toddler H was intrigued and immediately figured out what to do and how, so I think it is perfect for her age too.
Anyway, for Christmas or birthdays, I thoroughly recommend this simple toy for toddlers (definitely those age 3+),
