This week’s My Sunday Photo is one I’m very excited about… A buggy board!
H loves to walk when we’re out but if she gets tired, grumpy, throws a strop, runs away, just NEEDS to sit down, she starts shouting for “mummy cuddle” Being 26 weeks pregnant I can’t carry her now, not for the length of time she requires (‘wishes’) and usually I have shopping by that point to carry as well as my handbag and whatever you she’s brought along.
We discovered that she loved her friend’s buggy board in these situations on a day her friend was at nursery and his mummy had his little sister in their pushchair. So I found one second hand on a local Facebook page and we’ll be trying it out more this week…
UPDATE: my buggy board review is now live!
H was SUPER excited when she saw it attached to out Phil and Teds… Shouting “weeeeeeee weeeeeeee” and exclaiming “my blue board!”
Have you tried a buggy board? Do you have any tips for being in the third trimester with a 2/2.5 year old?

March 5, 2017 at 10:04 pmThis time last year I was pregnant and due in two weeks, with a 2,5 year old. We opted for getting a double buggy – a Baby jogger city select, from eBay at half price. I liked it because it you could arrange the seats in many different ways. Now a year later I am wishing I had opted for one sturdy pram plus a buggy board because it is soooo heavy with both children in it. It is great in many ways but I am considering swapping now.
On the other hand, my (now) 3 year-old is rather lazy, and I’m not sure he would want to stand and ride the whole time!

March 8, 2017 at 2:25 amWe got one, as im 37 weeks pregnant… we got one a few weeks ago now though… just to prepare my son that the pram will no longer be his, and that soon baby will come and be in the pram and he will use this….he thinks its fun and a nice ride. only time will tell how he will actually react when there is a real baby in the pram! 🙂 good post and a very good idea!
