As you’ll have gathered these last few months we’ve been doing potty training. That little fact might help understand this a bit better.
Toddler H following me to the toilet. OK, not following, opening the door when I’m sat on the toilet…
H: “Ohhhhh mummy doing wee wee!”
Me: “yes”
H: “Oh mummy doing poo poo”
Me: “yes do you need a poo poo too?”
After no answer,
Me: “You’ve not done one today?”
H: “I see, mummy I see” (craning her neck to see though me into the toilet)
I turn round to flush the toilet… and let her see, oh the things I do now!
H: “I see mummy wee wee, I see poo poo?”
A huge smile on her face as she squeezes past to see the long way, past the wall…
H: “ooooooh I see mummy bottom! Oooooh!” 🙈
Yes, thanks for that dear daughter! At least we were at home!!
Usually we’re not! She usually loves shouting “mummy doing poo poo” and “I see mummy poo poo now?” in public loos, when I most definitely an not! 😂
Let’s just say after those incidents I don’t usually see anyone else, they’re hiding in their cubicles as long as possible!
Does your toddler do similar now they are potty training?
